Setup Custom S3 Storage with SnapShooter

SnapShooter allows you to provide your own S3 storage by manually setting the endpoint.

What you need

When using a Custom provider, you must supply:

• Endpoint (the URL that the host is available at)

• Bucket

• Access Key

• Secret Key

Attaching S3 to SnapShooter

1. Go back to SnapShooter

2. https://app.snapshooter.com/settings/storage/attach

3. Choose a Friendly Name

4. Select Custom Provider

5. Provide your endpoint

6. Paste in the saved access key and secret access key

7. Enter the correct bucket name

8. Press Save

9. We will check the API key is valid and works before allowing you to save. Once complete, you are ready to create a Backup Job that uses external storage
