At Snapshooter, we understand the importance of secure, automated backups which is why we’ve created an easy-to-use, easy-to-automate solution that is perfect for Cloudways Servers. You simply need to connect your server to Snapshooter, and configure your first backup job. Our service will then backup your applications according to your personal configuration!
You simply need to connect your Cloudways server. SnapShooter will then find all applications installed on said server and backup these into individual databases and file backups. This also simplifies backup management by having many smaller backup files for each application.

When creating a backup job for Cloudways using Snapshooter, the system will automatically detect the databases for Wordpress, Magento v2, and Laravel (Cloudways one-click installs). However, for any other CMS, you will need to set up the backup manually. Snapshooter will backup all web files, but for Cloudways one-click type apps, the database will be backed up automatically. If you are using any othe type of app, you will need to set up a separate backup job for the database.
Yes! Each website on your server gets a separate database and file system backup allowing you to restore a single database or file system. You are free to select as many or as little segments of the backup to restore from using our recovery system.
